Westy grew up riding lifts on the hills of New Hampshire before discovering a few years ago that you can ski uphill too! And it's fun! He moved to Seattle in 2015 and has been enjoying all the ski mountaineering, climbing and hiking this beautiful area has to offer ever since then. He joined Snow Goat in 2018 as Course Director and has been enjoying being part of this super cool team putting on races for like-minded uphill humans. When he's not going uphill on the footsticks, Westy can be found hiking Mailbox on weekday evenings, swooning at the sight of our local volcanoes, pretending to know how to trail run, and working as an engineer by day.
