Growing up in Michigan, Grant was fortunate to have parents who introduced him to skiing at a very young age. He spent as many days as the Midwest winters allowed for at his local ski hill and family winter vacations always involved skiing at the bigger resorts in Northern Michigan.

Grant's journey through education and his engineering career has taken him across the US, but he’s now proud to call Cashmere, Washington, home. He immerses himself in the outdoors, spending countless hours trail running, cycling, and skiing. During the 2023/24 winter, Grant was introduced to skimo racing, which perfectly combined his love of lightweight gear with the mental and physical challenges of the sport.
